Snake

Went into the bedroom and there on the floor was a snake. It was just a baby and just shy of a foot long, but still a SNAKE! I don't like to kill anything, but I have to draw the line at snakes.

Goodbye, Paul

Paul Burke (July 21, 1926 - Sept 13, 2009)

Actor. Played Senator Neal McVane on Dynasty.

His character was part of the ridiculous plot that had him dress up as Alexis and push Krystal's ex-husband Mark Jennings from a balcony. (God, how I miss those shows!!)

New quarters

The fifty states, DC, and US territories quarters is wrapping up this year. It was announced the other day the revers of the quarters will feature national parks. Fifty-six different designs will be used for the "America the Beautiful Quarters Program" over the next twelve years.

I don't see this doing to much for the hobby. Some people are excited about the new program, but this isn't going to be the same as the state quarters. Fifty-six designs of rocks, trees, lakes, and waterfalls. Of all the subjects the US Mint could have chosen this is the best they could do.

Full list here.
