U2 in Atlanta

This past Tuesday we saw U2 perform in Atlanta, GA. They had a 360-degree "space ship" stage, but they had no idea how to use it right. They should have stuck with a standard one sided stage since they constantly played to the forward crowd. Those on the sides and, especially the back, were left out in the cold. I'm not a U2 fan at all so it really didn't matter much to me.

The opening act was Muse. Horrendous. The bass was way too loud and you couldn't hear the vocals or other instruments. After the first two songs we got up and walked around until U2 got on stage.

We stayed on the 40th floor of the Westin which is walking distance to the Georgia Dome where U2 performed. Here are a few pictures...
